The conference Women in Nonequilibrium Statistical Physics will be held September 7–11, 2026 at KU Leuven, Belgium. It brings together researchers working across theory, numerics, and experiments in nonequilibrium statistical physics, covering active and living matter, soft matter far from equilibrium, glasses and driven disordered systems, stochastic thermodynamics, and quantum non-equilibrium dynamics.
The conference aims to empower early-career researchers, increase the visibility of role models, and foster networking in an underrepresented community. Open to all genders; early-career researchers (Master, PhD, postdoc) are especially encouraged to apply. The program includes contributed talks and a poster session.
